Run for It All!!!

Spread the love

Run-for-it-all-HI-RES-CROPPEDMy new young adult novel, Run for It All, is now on another “Upcoming Releases” page!  Dreamspinner Press has the book set for its September 22nd release, and available for pre-order now.  In addition, while the page defaults to an ebook purchase, you can always change it to print.  I still love holding physical books whenever I get the chance.

It’s so exciting knowing this special book will be released in only one month.  It’s seems like ages since it was contracted.  This tender and dramatic story of emerging maturity & love in youth, paralleled by the adults in his life, was a joy to write.

As the scenes played out in my mind’s eye, I laughed and cried, and then laughed again, with these characters.  I hope you’ll enjoy the journey as much as I did.

You can find the link to the page for Run for It All, along with it’s blurb here: https://www.dreamspinnerpress.com/books/run-for-it-all-by-carolyn-levine-topol-7441-b In addition, you can click on the link (on the left side of the book’s page) to read an excerpt from the book.

“A Harmony Ink Press Title

When both his moms take an offer for a year of employment in Europe, fifteen-year-old David Martin has no choice but to head to Connecticut to stay with his dad and his dad’s partner. Not only is he leaving behind the life he loves in New York City, he’s unsure how he feels about staying with a father he barely knows, one who has been far from supportive during David’s life.

If he doesn’t have enough on his plate, David is also confused and wrestling with his burgeoning sexual feelings… toward other boys. Running with his dad’s partner takes the edge off, but training with the hot—and openly gay—track team captain, Kevin Ringer, produces a different kind of rush.

An assault on David and Kevin in the locker room gives David a new perspective on his own identity, his feelings for Kevin, and his relationship with his dad. Life is very different from what David is used to, but he’s determined to carve out a place for himself.”
