It has been wonderful getting to know Lacretia Lyon, host/co-host of several Afterbuzz TV shows, including the GH Report and the Restless Wrap-Up, weekly recaps and discussions about General Hospital and The Young and the Restless. In addition to our earlier interview, Lacretia agreed to chime in with her quick responses to our Warming the Winter Chat questions.

CTT: Favorite season?

Fall

CTT: Best present you ever received?

I got a cat when I was 6 or 7 and I loved that cat until the day he died.  His name was officially “Oliver” but he turned into “Fatty” because he got chubby, and he was a little orange tabby.

CTT: Favorite way to ring in the New Year?

Quietly.  I’m not a big New Year’s celebration person.  Maybe a glass of champagne–I don’t even watch the ball drop.  We used to go to the hockey game on New Year’s in Dallas.  It was a staple but since I’ve lived in L.A. I unfortunately miss it.

CTT: Favorite drink–alcoholic or not?

I love beer.  I love my “Shiner Light Blonde” cause I’m from Texas.

CTT: Favorite day off activity?

Sitting on my couch and watching a TV marathon like Law & Order: SVU or Criminal Minds — something like that I can just zone out to.

CTT: Favorite movie as an adult; favorite movie when you were a child?

It hasn’t really changed much because we were allowed to watch what we wanted when we were younger so it’s still Mallrats.

CTT: Ideal date night?

A hockey game and a quiet scotch bar after.

CTT: Cook at home, go to a restaurant, or take-out?

Take-out… any day of the week. [Laughs]

CTT: Are you a Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopper?

Cyber Monday if I had to pick — I don’t really shop a lot.

CTT: Valentine’s Day –Yay or Nay?

I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day.

CTT: Las Vegas or Grand Canyon?

I love the food in Vegas so I guess I’ll go with that.

CTT: Disneyland or Universal?

Universal

CTT: L.A., NYC, Honolulu, or Juneau?

I’m told I’d love New York, but I’ve never been so I guess I’ll go with what I know so L.A.
