Viewers of The Young and the Restless have been watching Lily Ashby [Christel Khalil] lead a rather steady day to day life as soap opera characters go for quite a long period of time.  Recently Lily has had a positive turn in her life as she has been recruited by Genoa City cosmetics company, Brash and Sassy to be their spokesmodel and product ambassador.

Lily’s devoted husband, and semi-reformed workaholic, Cane [Daniel Goddard], seems less than enthusiastic about his wife stepping into the limelight.  Will Lily’s new career step cause a breakdown in her otherwise happy marriage?  Is Cane overreacting and, in part, being sexist, as his father implicated in a recent episode of Y&R?
