Long time Days of Our Lives star, Joseph Mascolo, has died at age 87.
After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Mascolo, passed away on December 8th.
Joseph Mascolo will be missed by the cast, crew, and fans of Days of Our Lives, many of whom are sharing their sorrow on social media.
Mascolo was born March 13, 1929 in West Hartford, Connecticut, the veteran actor started his career in daytime with his first role on General Hospital and ended it with a high-profile storyline exit from Days of Our Lives.

I first saw Joe on General Hospital as Dominio. He was a bad guy on there. Then when he came to Days as Stefeno oh my was he a bad guy. He played bad very well. He was also on Bold and The Beautiful as Massimio. I only saw him on there every once and a while. He is going to be missed. RIP
