On March 22, 2017 the Daytime Emmy Nominees were announced! It was an exciting event. Those nominated in the Daytime Drama Series acting categories are all outstanding performers.
In honor of the upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards, on April 30th, let’s spend the next few weeks making our guesses, in each acting category, in a new weekly series, Let’s Predict Together.
In the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series:
Peter Bergman – The Young and the Restless
Scott Clifton – The Bold and the Beautiful
Billy Flynn – Days of Our Lives
Vincent Irizarry – Days of Our Lives
Kristoff St. John – The Young and the Restless

Billy Flynn
He was fantastic last year. Not sure what he submitted. The Chad/Abigail/Ben storyline was fantastic. Billy showed alll kinds of emotions. Anger, sadness, disbelief. He is really good at playing the sad emotional Chad. This nomation is much deserved.
I agree, that he had many emotional and believable scenes!
Either Vincent irrizarry or Billy Flynn. That’s tough because there both absolutely phenomenal and amazing. The work they both have done have been incredible.i love them both. Maybe it will be a tie Carolyn lol.

No surprise here from me. I truly believe that Billy Flynn deserves the Emmy because of his multi-layered portrayal of a man who felt so many emotions during the stalking of his wife, along with his grief over her mental illness and subsequent “death”. His scenes were gut wrenching and so heartfelt; he didn’t miss a beat. Extraordinary performances!
Billy most definitely brought the many emotions of a distraught husband to the screen. I was deeply moved by those scenes!
Billy Flynn, hes the only non winner listed. All the others have won before.
It would be great if he won!
I said last year that Billy Flynn deserves to be nominated n he is and he deserves the win. Chad’s tape includes dealing with his past with Stefano, learning about Abigail’s death, and he destroys the Dimera den to pieces. His tape tops the other entrys.
I do think Billy Flynn has an excellent chance of walking home with the Emmy. He had some extremely strong performances and his Emmy reel is wonderful! Thank you!!!
I totally agree
