“Very interesting contrast. Marlon had a charisma just unbelievable. He was a big man, he was powerful, he was a strong man…Yul was a gymnast, a trapeze artist, a gymnast. Also strong, but Yul smoked himself to death, literally smoked himself to death…he had his dressing room on one side and Marlon on the other side of the ship. They didn’t like each other. Marlon didn’t like him.”

“We came out and the place exploded, they had 15,000 people in a small area…We went and we shook hands with the people, as soon as we did they started reaching for us from the back, so they started collapsing onto the chairs, and they started descending onto the stage, one of the few times in my life I was truly scared shitless…I called my wife that night, I said listen, I don’t want to do this anymore, I don’t want any part of this, this is not what I signed up for.”
