The artist known as Prince has died at age 57.  According to a variety of news sources, including the NY Times and Associated Press, Prince was found dead at his home in Minneapolis.

The music legend had a medical emergency last week but it was reported he was suffering from the flu.

Pop singer, Prince, was the recipient of seven Grammy Awards as well as an Academy Award for original song score for the film “Purple Rain”.
