Doris Roberts, the loving, over-involved mother on the sitcom, “Everybody Loves Raymond” passed away on Sunday, April 17th, according to a report released by TMZ.

Ms. Roberts was a multi-Emmy award winning actress who will always be remembered for her wide array of roles.  She won 4 of her 5 Emmys for her role as Marie Barone in “Everybody Loves Raymond” and her 5th Emmy for her role as Cora on “St. Elsewhere”.

The veteran actress of both stage and screen will be missed.
