It’s been released that Spencer Neville will be returning to Days of Our Lives to reprise his role as Derrick!  What we don’t know is how long he will be visiting in Salem and what impact he will have on others in town.

During the past couple of weeks it has become evident that Sonny and Paul [Freddie Smith and Christopher Sean] are still attracted to one another.  However, Sonny has stated he is choosing to wait to explore any type of relationship, as he is still mourning the passing of his husband Will Horton [Guy Wilson].

Spoilers indicate Sonny will find himself in close proximity of Paul during crucial moments in the upcoming chaos to be brought on by the convicts holding Salem hostage in fear.  As these two grow closer will the return of Derrick change everything?  Derrick was clearly infatuated with Paul, and Paul seemed to welcome the attention.
